I absolutely agree Frank. His work is what inspired me to try to make my own.

I recently ordered a package of 10 - 2" wooden balls. It is my intent to paint and finish the balls myself. If they fit right with it I could use my Fakini s**** with them. But I only need the wooden ones for a brief segment of my routine where I use a silk and the Fakini's are not very "silk friendly" (or perhaps too silk friendly would be a better way of putting it).

Frank, your balls look very nice (egads, that's blackmail material). Has anyone tried spraying the wooden balls with any type of clear coating such as the roughing spray types or anything? Something to give them just a tiny more grip.

Mr. Starsini Those are some nice looking balls, I love the colors. A shell would be nice but no biggie.

I totally admire anyone who works with wooden balls. I have used them but it is a much different tactile feel to them. Takes a lot of getting used to. I still use my Fakinis for every show I do. I am just more used to them.

There is so much you can do with billiard balls if you open your mind to the possibilities. Currently I have been exploring sequences with ball and wand at the same time and the interaction of both. Flip stick style moves and color changes using the wand end caps etc.
