Yesterday I say a new type of 'cup insulation' (hot or cold) that will fit any cup. It is a strip of foam with plastic inserts that lies flat, but magically wraps/jumps around any container snuggly. These come in ugly colors, but could be ideal for protecting precious cups during transportaion or storage.

Sorry, I didn't learn the brand name, but they were 49 cents.

Nope, those are sleeves and won't form fit. The new ones are 1/4 foam and about 31/2" by 10" flat with attrocious color designs.

I'll go back to the store and ask

At a discount lumber place called Railroad Salvage. They were on the counter and all gone before I got up that far -- a mad house on Saturday morning. they have many 'one shot' items, but I'll ask the management.

You never know what you will find at those places. A friend of mine found a $1200.00 Dobro guitar at one a while back. It needed repair, but he got it for about $75.00 and it cost him about $100 to get it fixed.

My find last week were 22 simulated wood-grain covered shelves 8' by 3/4" by 20"

I'm just going to screw them over studs in a bedroom I am remodeling. That's three walls finished without mess or paint at a total cost of $47 including tax.

there is magic everywhere

They are called Rad-O-Koolz

they lay flat, then snap around any size cup with protective,
insulating foam and jazzy colors. Obviously designed for beverages,
but fit anything.
