BEVERLY SUZAN
Performer, Teacher, Author of “Completely Magicall” in it’s 3rd printing.
Beverly turned professional in 1980-81. She has worked clubs, restaurants, corporate gigs, large stage shows, cruises, a traveling magic motorcycle tour across the United States (that lasted 73 days), scouts, and schools but her favorite shows- are family shows. She does dove magic, escapes, predictions, sleight-of-hand with coins, sponges, and other small objects. She performs rope magic, cards, and various large illusions. She performed on stage for many years in her own show, as both a box jumper and main magician for Metamorphosis, Cutting a Lady in Half, Zigzag, Guillotine, The Storybook Illusion, Swords through the Head and other large illusions. She also eats fire.
She started teaching the Psychology of Magic through a youth program in 1995 at Montclair State University, She also teaches the College students privately there. She teaches many after school programs, workshops and has done a few Adult classes on Using Magic in the Classrooms, and for Selling. She plans on marketing Magi-Call on the magic circuits, Barnes & Noble, etc. She is not only the author but also the publisher. She has started Volume II of the Suzan Course of Magic and plans to have that completed and published before 2012... She already has promises of chapters for Volume Two from Bob Fitch, Tobias Beckwith and possibly Luna Shimada.
PS- The Suzan Course of Magic is all of her writings and teachings over the last 15 years (they fill two offices!) it's a massive editing job, oh yeah.. she does that, too.
Completely Magi-Call: A Study of the Magicians Art-- The TRUE Secrets is Volume one; it's a primer to magic.
Volume two will be an "intermediate through professional" volume.

Hi! Wondering if Beverly might have an outline of what she might be discussing during her lecture?

Generally it helps draw more people if a brief outline is posted. With the John Bundy lecture, Morgan submitted a post on the Café that outlined several topics the planned to talk on ... and she also invited guests to submit possible topics ahead of time.

Thought these ideas might help to drum up a better attendance.
