I am interested in getting the 10p version. I don't really want to go through 45 pages on this so could someone tell me if an expanded shell will fit over the TUC please? I am just wondering if I can use it to do Josh Jay's 3 coin vanish from his lecture DVD AKA Triad coins.
Many thanks |

A TUC is a normally sized coin, so an expanded shell (or slippery sam) would work great. If you add a little something (metal) to the shell in the right amount, it can be even better!

It was my discussions with Marcello during the writing of "T.U.C. Appreciation" over this feature that encouraged him to continue his
development of the Super Slippery Shell that has now become TUC Plus. Several effects using an Exp [ and the TUC have been published, and I have also used an English Penny EXP [ to advantage. I know that several performers have used Kennedy Exp [ with the Euro version of the TUC.

Hi!
I have TUC Half Dollar and TUC Copper and Silver (English Penny/Half Dollar) and I love them. Is there any of these variations available: - TUC Half Dollar/Chinese coin - TUC Eisenhower Dollar/Chinese coin - TUC Eisenhower Dollar/English Penny Chinese coin and Dollar have a great contrast colours so will be great if they are available or if Tango can make them.

A TUC + Chinatown bit would be a near combination. I'd consider getting one of those.
I suspect the TUC Eisenhower/English Penny would suffer the same problem as the Quarter/Penny (to me) - they're different sized coins, so it's hard to get things to line up properly... But Mr Tango's pretty responsive, and I know they do some custom work. You could reach out and see if they'll help you out. Let us know what you find. |

Yes, I sent them a message about the TUC half dollar/chinese coin and received the following answer:
"Hello Hektor that is an idea that we have a long time ago but we never finished making it. Your comment motivates us to return to the project. Thank you! Keep in touch. Facundo." So hope it will be available soon. If other magicians also ask Tango, I believe it can be done very soon.

TUC dollar chines coin, good question, I can make it right now but what do you suggest about the hole of the chinese coin, black color or skin color ?

How hard would it be to make a TUC Chinese coin (on both sides)? I'm guessing it wouldn't require a color, since there'd be a hole through all the coins.

Hi, Mr. Tango. Thanks for the reply. In my opinion in the TUC dollar/chinese coin the "hole" should be in black color. In that way the main color of whole coin will be the same and it will looks normal to the spectators (many of them even do not know that in the middle of the coin usually is a hole).
I have TUC half dollar, TUC half dollar/ Penny, TUC red poker chip and if you make TUC half dollar/ chinese coin I want it too! Just inform us when you are ready with it.

When performing matrix routine using TUC, did anyone has an experience that spectators notice the difference of coin thickness?
How to solve this problem? |
