It's a great book to learn the Showmanship as a Magician. He does NOT teach any tricks, but really the more important stuff like how to present effects that work on achieving the best response.

If you you have his 2 Volume DVD Set (The Real Secrets of Magic) then I would say you won't need this book. He basically has the same to say in the book as he does in his verbal lessons on the DVD's in between each effect.

I say either buy this book OR the 2 DVD's.

The book is invaluable to someone who is considering doing close up for pay. I feel it is very different from the DVD's, they focus on the effects.
