Yes it's very visual. I only regret that with so much talent Carl never worked more at his scripts.
There is no story and no meaning in what Carl shows: if he was taking the trouble to give meaning to his illusions, he would reach the higher degree of fame that his talent and kind personality deserve. Visual is not enough... even the very best visual.

I remember Carl Cloutier do some amazing magic at convention in sweden mid 90s.
He did a huge impact on the magicians. Card in Socket was very nice and he did some very strong card magic. In the lobby he did an amazing routine with knife. Nice memories. |
