Wow, looks great. Would like to see it from a different angle, though.

Really nice and effortless.
If, at the end, the thumb would cover the bent corner of the card on the face of the deck, it would reach perfection.

This should be published: it is really worth it.

Aaron, I just replied to you in another thread; nice to see you here again. lol

danielrmk, thanks for the comments. One thing I would like to mention is this can be performed surrounded, so this can be seen from a different angle. But, if people are seeing this from the side, they will only see the edge of the deck. SmileOtherwise, as long as people can see the face of the card, they can see it vanish slowly. It's just that it would be best for people to get a full view of the card, so they can really appreciate the slow, bit by bit vanish.

Lawrence O, again thanks for the good words. I think the bent corner was an accident because my hand sweat and the corner is somehow bent when toying with the deck before I shot this. It is not supposed to happen when this effect is performed, so it won't be an issue. And I tried, my thumb can't reach that corner, as it is too short LOL...

All the best,
G.

Really impressed.
That's something I'll really look forward to learn.
What are you willing to do with that, G. ?

That was just beautiful! When the card started to seemingly fade away, I was like, "Uh,...wait, wait...WHAT?"!

Pedro Haluch, thanks for the great comments. This trick was designed to visually vanish a signed selection surrounded in a completely impromptu situation and, later or immediately, produce the signed card from somewhere else, eg. wallet.

Mamutrance, thanks for the great comment. V2F will be launched in about 2 weeks through: http://www.smproductionz.com/ Please stay tuned.

Chamberlain, thanks for the great comment. It is my goal to create things that look like real magic and have the effect speaks for itself. I'm glad your like it. Smile

Fábio DeRose, thanks for the great comment. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. I've been performing this effect for a few years with great success; and one time I've caused a lady into tears when she saw the card faded away, which I've never thought that would happen. And I asked her the reason why she teared, she said it was beautiful and that it touched her....

I believe that the process of magic is more important than the outcome, and the outcome is more like a convincer as the result of the process. But at the same time, the process is what convinces the result.

And once again, thanks for your interest.

Bob_Hummer, thanks for the interest. V2F will be published through:

http://www.smproductionz.com/

Guys, I'm currently working tightly with the SM crew on V2F, and thanks for all your support. If you have any question regarding to this effect, please feel free to ask me. I'll try to answer the questions the best I can whenever I'm available.

I'll let you guys know if there's update on anything, please stay tuned.

All the best,
G.

They had a pre-release to their private members... which I MISSED IT. Smile It happened while I was away on a trip for just two days. Now, I have to wait again... In the email, they didn't mention about the actual release date. Anyone know about it?

Whoa. Very nice! I was explaining things to myself up till the very last bit of card was showing - when the top of the deck was clean, I was like, "???"

Excellent! Beautifully executed - can't wait to learn it and start doing it. The website still says the video will be available soon - any ETA yet?

I got it.These are only my first impressions, as I haven't practised and used the effect yet. The good points are it looks beautiful and seems easy to do. A provided suggested use is with Jay Sankey's Paperclipped, and that's where I'll be using it as it overcomes a problem I have with the central move there (and, of course, it's much more visual). I'll also be using it with Cameron's Fresh Mint. The move is executed with the hand pretty much flat to the deck, so it's not angle sensitive. On the downside, the move is very wearing on the card used. The price was also an issue; at $28, it is very expensive. Also, I had hoped to be able to reproduce the card using the clipshift, but this isn't possible.
I thought I knew the technique just from looking at the trailer and purchased just for the finer points and subtleties, but found the technique to be completely different than I'd originally thought - it's very clever.
Overall, I like this a lot; just a shame it's so expensive.

Thanks, Ray!

Can you elaborate on the statement "On the downside, the move is very wearing on the card used" without exposure? Is it something that you can simply add a single card from another deck after "wearing" one out?

PM if needed!
