Here is one of many unsolicited e-mails about Banachek's lecture. The following is an example from Mark Kandel, Ring 22,:

MANY THANKS again for a FANTASTIC lecture. Your lecture set a new attendance record for us, 70 people! Standing room only and people in the doorway! Wow! You also set a serious record for net profit from hosting a magic lecture! Usually we're pleased to break even or come out a few bucks ahead, even after hosting internationally known magicians. Despite the battered Michigan economy, your lecture netted more profit that any other lecture we've had in over 10 years! I suspect you have no idea how much you are respected and loved in the magic & mentalism communities.

Everyone was energized by your performance, enthusiasm and the quality and in-depth handling of the material you shared. The single common complaint I received was that 2.5 hours just wasn't enough time. The next time around- and I hope there will be a next time- we'll have to find a venue with more flexible time limits, like a full day maybe!

OK, you don't need me to tell you what a great performer and teacher you are-
BUT, you do need to know this: everyone who had the opportunity to share a few words with you told me how struck they were with your warmth, approachability, grounded-ness and genuine spirit. In Yiddish its called "menschlichkeit." And in this regard you've set a high bar, too.

Thank you again for the terrific lecture, for inspiring me to re-think some of my routines, and for making me look like a hero for booking you!
