What is the name of the very talented magician who just uses Bic pens and coins that keep appearing and disappearing? Ive only seen him once and that was on t,v.(yeah I know, I don`t get out much). Guess he uses many combinations of moves including Flip`s. Hummm...maybe a pull, or sleeving. Don`t remember if he had sleeves. Anyway does he have any material out yet or will he? John

Yeah that`s him; Rick Merrill. what a great and entertaining 4 1/2 minutes of magic. Does he have anything out yet? Same is true with Levent and multiplying billiard balls. These guys really are masters of illusions. Ain`t life (magic) great?? Thanks guys, especially your link yin. Now where is that sharpie, half dollar & long sleeve shirt.........

I think that in Rick Merrill's book 'Home Schooled', he credits Rune Klan's Impromptu Hitman as his inspiration. This also has part of his routine, and some input on sleeving, and sleevless vanishes.
Rune Klan's routine is on Joshua Jay's excellent 'Talk about tricks' set. Hope this helps. |

"Home schooled" are Rick's lecture notes and has had some stuff printed in Antimony. Rick is a great guy and has a wicked sense of humor,

Yeah, I love Ricks sense of humor. Makes him a real likable character. I`ve heard there is a dvd out. Anybody know about it?

The listing is near the bottom of the page. It's in England, but the service from there is good. BTW, it took me less than five minutes to find this with a google search. It would have been faster, if I had done a search on the forum here.
