During my close-up act I use frequently sound effects to support the effects that I am doing. I use a MP3-player with a footswitch (on-off) connected to it.
During my act the queen of hearts (playing card) rises out of my breastpocket. I would like that at that moment the sound was heared for approx. 5-10 seconds of music that the spectator associates with a dramatic or important "entrance or appearance" of an artist or a king. It is very difficult for me to explain it in English, but I hope you understand what I mean. Do you have suggestions for titles of music that can be used for that? Many thanks in advance. |

In your case I wouldn't look for a particular song, but more for a sound effect like a woosh sound effect that last for two or three seconds, not longer.
My second suggestion would be to stop talking, wait until the whole auditorium is silent and make the card rise in silence. Sometimes it's much more effectiv than a sound effect. Good luck Oliver. |

Hello, Waterloophai!
I suggest doing a Google search for something like this: "free sound effects" trumpet fanfare

Google search Richard Wayne and/or R. G Rhoades they both have royalty free music that has both entrance and exit and climatic clips for use such as yours.
