If I went even two days without practicing it, I found I forgot something and had to go back through my notes. I'm not crazy about packet tricks per se, but now that a couple of fellas have mentioned this one, I might have to take a look back at this one. |

I am now having a lot of fun with Monte Monte Plus, especially with HL's additional move at the end.

3 card monte by Michael skinner. if you practise this... you'll be a God for your spectators. It kills.

Kenton Knepper's Slo-Mo Monte is the best I've seen. Done in the hands so it is perfect for walk around. Very easy and straight-forward looking routine. The odd card is face down, yet jumps from bottom to the middle. The odd card jumps to the top and another card changes to the odd card. The duplicate card is now the odd card and the new odd card jumps around like the first one. You take the odd card and clearly place into your pocket but it jumps right back in between the other two cards. The cards can be examined. There is a slight chance the spectator may detect something funny but it is unlikely that they will understand the workings. It can be found on his Full House DVD.

My current favorite (because it's in the repertoire at the moment)is Paul Gordon's
"Triple Kick Monte". A lot of the monte routine are similar but this one does have an excellent climax that always draws a laugh. I've used a few, and have come across a lot of monte type routines over the years. I'd certainly recommend this one to anyone. Paul. |

Mine would have to be:
Gypsy Monte - Paul Wilson Hold it Buster! - Dan Harlan It's the theatrics and presentation of both that makes them so appealing to me. Cheers. |

Thanks to those that pointed out Peter Duffie's 4 card monte. That looks really nice (it's in Effortless Card Magic for those interested).
