I am moving to LA very soon and I don't want to take all my magic. I just want trick that I can carry in my pocket or my Assassin's Pouch ( I wrote a little post on it http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......um=34&0)
Also I am still looking for small tricks for the pocket. Here is what I got: Deck of cards Thumb tip Color changing knives 2 half dollars Flame / Card to wallet / peak wallet That is what I got so anything more would be great |

Why don't you wait until you get there? There are a lot of good magic shops in California. Some are close to LA, some aren't.

You have the makings of a decent walkaround show. I'd add a piece of soft velvet rope to do ring and rope tricks.
BTW, be careful with your flame wallet. If you use it in a restaurant, you may get in trouble. It's called an open flame.

I don't use the flame part of the wallet, just the card to wallet. I use the flame around friends. Thanks for the rope advise

Chink-a-Chink is a highly portable/pocketable trick as well.

How about adding 2 more coins and a shell, then you will have unlimited magic at your fingertips i.e. coins across, coins through table, etc,etc,etc...

Sankys pouch came out when I first got back into magic since a kid. My wife brought me it and some other tricks as a present. I use it a lot I put a regular deck and a gaff deck in it and other bits in it. Chuck it in my bag and if the moment arises I have tricks on hand. Also I do all so carry a small box around some times see link to find out more.
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......&forum=5 Since this post I have added a few more coins and a effect called stargazer. I have also learnt a few tricks with props listed. Its come in useful many times and got me a few bookings so put business cards in as well.
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |
