I think the link you provided should go to the "Home" page, and it should immediately show a photo of you, along with a short description of what you do. Put the videos, etc., on another page.

Also, if you aren't comfortable writing "copy", work with someone who is. I think your basic premise for your invisible mouse "assistant" is good, but it needs to be much more visible upon entering your site.

I like the fact that it's white and not jet black with a ton of red. (I'm one to talk! lol) But it's a nice change.

Would like to see some nicer photography that tells more about you than snapshots that look myspace-ready.

One thing a non-magician friend ranted about once, concerning myspace...
"I hate it when there are series of pictures, nay entire albums, of the same lighting and angle -- just different facial expressions. I don't think anyone wants to see that many ways you can take the same pic with your new BlackBerry."

Thanks for the advice. I am strongly considering hiring a professional photographer so I can get some quality shots. I am also going to be adding some more interactive content soon.

Your "About Burke" page is showing some html where it is inteded to show your photo. Otherwise, I like the look, find it easy enough to navigate and especially like that it is a very readable black on white. Good luck!
