My brother has the Jim Pace UFO card.
The IT is attatched in such a great place (I'm not familiar with the regular UFO card so I don't know if the IT is attatched in the same place). It is attractive to watch due to its LED lights - when spinning, it looks like a red circle thing. However, it is these very lights that make it a little too gimmicky and put me off. While on the subject, I was in the magic shop at Disneyland a few days ago and the UFO card was being demoed. The guy behind the counter was drawing big crowds. He even borrowed my friend's key card and flew it around the store. People were impressed. Gonz :carrot:

I just returned from Vegas last night and checked out a couple of the Houdini magic shops in the casinos on the Strip. I watched a demo of the UFO card. When he spun out a playing card and it returned to his hand, even knowing how it was done, I thought it a great take on an IT hookup. When he then borrowed a room key card, which is much heavier then a playing card, and made it hover and spin in mid-air above the lender's hand, then spin completely around his back and into his waiting hand I was just for an INSTANT brought back to the wonder I had as a kid and why I got into magic in the first place. And I'M very familiar with "IT!"
I really enjoyed watching the wonder on the faces of the laymen spectators-the reactions were even stronger then some of the excellent stage illusions Copperfield did at his Portal show at the MGM. With the proper practice and conditions this is a very visible effect.
