I was wondering if you have any advice about getting work / working for a theme park?

First I would contact all the parks you are interested in and ask if they need a magician for the following year. Then ask what the audition process is but most importantly what type of a show they might be looking for.
As a side note I remember sanding a Zig Zag for Jim Swoger who sold it to Lovell. He used it a gazillion times then sold it back to us. I Hate to tell you what I did. It was a folding model which I turned into a solid model. Jim was curt with me because it was an 'us project but he was happy when it was complete. So I have a Zig Zag he made years ago.
