I agree Iceblade.

If someone were to use audience reactions to determine the quality of an effect, we all would be buying every L & L dvd every made. Smile

What am I missing here? Smile I think I am in the process of buying every L&L DVD ever made, I'm 1/2 way there! Smile

I picked this up on a whim and didn't have great expectations but I was looking for a non-card item to mix up my walk around sets. I've had this for about 3 weeks and have used it about 12 times and I have to say that I really like it. It's visual, fun to perform, and gets really great reactions. The quality of the gaff is very high and the dvd provides several routine possibilities.

I've used it in restaurant table hopping; it's excellent. Great reactions!

I find it really amazing that my friend J.C. Hiatt was never contacted by either of the two people talking about releasing this pen effect. J.C. did release "Recap" in 1995 and we had plans to re-release the effect with DVD instructions in 2010.
I'm really starting to hate the business side of magic.

I guess if you need a back up to the you know what or if you don't already have a you know what, then this is a good buy. Not sure if it's such a great buy if you already have one, or two, or x-number of you know what's lying around. Maybe he should also release a DVD only version of this?

I have seen an early prototype of this last October, and I can tell you that this pen is slightly different, in that the end isn't flat, but rounded, as it should be on a regular pen. Of course, the you-know-what is shaped accordingly to accomodate this.

That pen sounds just like Mano's Big Wander pen,is he the one making the pens for Greg?

Wilson's perfromance is 200% better, in my opinion. mostly because of phrasing and pacing. He also makes it more fun than puzzling! A good study for those who want to do this effect.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Hi. Does anyone know where to buy a back-up gimmicked pen? Greg Wilson says he carries his everywhere...well, what if he loses it (pens do get lost, especially tiny little pen tips). Does he then have to tear open one of his own DVDs?

Also, anyone have any ideas how to end the routine clean, without anything in your hand?

Thanks if you can help!

Can somebody tell me if the "pen" is strong enough to use it for a regular pen through bill? I am think of purchasing "Perfect Pen" but if Pointless does the job as good I would buy Pointless for the sake of having 2 different effects.

This pen is NOT designed or recommended for pen thru bill.

Anyone know if it's possible to purchase the gimmick. I lost mine. Still have the pen. It's a blue one.
Any way to contact Greg? Thank you for your help.
