Director and writer John Hughes died today of a heart attack. He made Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller and 16 Candles.
I figure that most people on the Café are either too old or too young for Hughes but I always loved his films. http://wellknowwhenwegetthere.blogspot.c......hes.html "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." |

How could somebody be too old or too young for his films? Especially since one of them is on the tube every few hours.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles has made me laugh many, many times. The guy had a gift for making movies that touched people in different ways and became part of people's history.
I'm sure he had more in him. Very sorry to see him go. Greg
