Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say how nice it is to find this forum within a forum! I've been lurking for a little while but you all seem so friendly and helpful I thought now was the best time to say hello and maybe ask a question too. I'm really just starting out and wondered performance wise which female magicians/mentalists you all respect or admire? It would be great to get a sense of what women are doing in these disciplines. I'm leaning more towards the mentalism side myself but find women in this area (particularly here in the UK) few and far between. Best wishes to you all and thanks for reading, LR x |

There are not a lot of female magicians in the U.S. either.
There's a list here that you may want to look at. http://www.abbylondon.com/directory.htm My favorite for long time has been Tina Lennert. I wish I've seen more. |

Check out the threads with the member "annabelle". She lives in the US, but has specialized in mental/spirit
magic and shared a lot of ideas concerning female magicians. wk
Nothing is truer than the incomprehensible, because the sum total of our knowledge consists of the fact that we know nothing. Our reality is an illusion. Thus illusion is reality-Punx

Thanks fo the list Jaz, I'm going to spend some time looking at that and also find stuff on Tina Lennert to watch/read. Appreciate your reply. Thanks for the tip wkitwizard, I'll do a search for "annabelle" and have a read of those threads. Appreciate your reply too. |

Trixie Bond is a great performer as is Debbie Leifer. Merlina, a.k.a. Maria Ibanez past SAM president is another top notch performer. Tina Lennert is another amazing lady whose routine never grows old. Celeste Evans, though retired, belongs with the "Legends" of magic.

Hi
There's a list of fellow female magicians in this thread (which <cough> even mentions me ). I'm in the UK and lean towards the mental magic side of things too. Where abouts in the UK are you based? |

Thanks guys for the replies.
Father Photius - I' going to have a good look at those names, thank you for posting. TWWofTWeb - how fab to be mentioned in a thread! Are you KR or CF then? I'm based in the Midlands (don't want to be too specific just yet after reading the 'strange people' thread!). Whereabouts are you? Do you have a web page link I could have a nosey at?! (p.m. me if you like). Cheers for replying, hope it's going well. LRx |

I'm KR. Don't blame you for not being specific about location. I'm in London so far enough away. Will PM you.
