I like the headset because there is no feedback problem and as it stays close to your mouth and moves with you,you don't get that horrible variation in sound you get when you move your head your mouth strays in and out of range a mic.

The Anchor Liberty System I bought came with a wireless mic receiver built in and came with the lapel mic. It works fine, but I have worked other venues with a house sound system, and I have used their headset mic. I prefer this one a lot more and will be investing in the headset element soon. That way I can switch them out at my discretion.

The Apollo Systems are very good too I have been using mine for nine years it is wireless I can run 2 wireless mics and a wired mic too if needed. It has a wireless mic and a built in tape player. It's easy to patch in a personal CD player. I have the 6000 but there are smaller versions as well. Built in rechargeable battery or plug it in.

I have the same system as Jewls, the Apollo PA 6000. I love it. I incorporate music into my shows and since it has a built in tape player this has been great. It can also hook up a cd or minidisc w/ an additional cable.
It has the mic hookups and I always have my wireless lapel mic in my case just in case. There have been several times that I have needed it when I didn't think I was going to, and I was very happy to have it. Its nice to have something if you do any type of outdoor show. I'm pretty loud but a little wind can carry my voice in the wrong direction. oliver |

Ken,
Yours has a remote that comes with it right? Did you have to purchase that somewhere else? |
