I just got back from my second visit to magic week, and boy did I have a great time. There was fireworks, busking, a pizza eating contest, open mike, auction, free lectures, free shows, and there was a close up contest's at Curly's bar. It was 4 days of round the clock magic, and I look forward to my return visit to magic town USA next year.

Rick,
Thanks for the great time you made available to all. It was a wonderful week of magic. The casual atmosphere and constant surprise visits by the names in the world of magic made it hard to leave FAB just to go eat. It was a week of fun and sharing that is well worth the trip. Al, Ian, Tony, and others shared loads of excellent ideas and techniques for the magicians there. There were surprises in the shows too. (One took the front page of the news paper! Glenda Mann did a great act.) I look forward to the next one. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Magic Ian,
Please give us some details about the October event. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

Well, we had been holding a small auction and flea market (like our neighbors in Orlando), and it had been attended by a small group. We also had local lecturers.
This year, we have a more centralized location about 35-40 minutes from Orlando and 20 minutes from Leesburg, fl. I had contacted Levent to lecture and we adjusted the schedule so he will lecture at this event. Then, the flea market tables were always a hit, followed by a "tailgate auction" where the table dealers can sell what they want to the highest bidders. The prices are usually pretty low, so bargains prevail. We don't know what to expect for this one-day event, but with the new location we are hopeful. -------------------- Time schedule is fashioned after the Orlando club. Flea market and sales morning til 11 or noon, lecture after lunch break, followed by the auction (usually after lectures sales) around 3 pm til ?? All tentative. We have 5 tables reserved right now.
