Hey all,
I was thinking of joining. But that got me thinking. What are the benefits? I live in Estonia, so I think here are no "chapters". I'm 16 year old. Can anyone explain to me a little, what I get from joining SYM. Thanks, Fred |

Hi, Fred -
The S.Y.M. is a great organization to help you with your magic. I wouldn't worry about not belonging to an assembly; about half our members don't have assemblies near where they live and so don't belong to assemblies- they are associate members. When you join, you will receive the Magic SYMbol - an online magic magazine for members that you can download on your own computer. The SYMbol contains a variety of articles, from tricks and staging to history. There is usually an article on how to make an effect. You also will have access to mentors who can help you if you need help with a trick or routine. You can check out the SYMBol by visiting http://www.magicsym.com. The site has a 2006 issue you may view without a password. The magazine has changed slightly, but this is a good representation. Dues are $20 a year. Good luck with your magic.
