Am I just getting too old to remember clearly or do I really remember seeing a set of cups made from brown bakelite someplace? I would love to have a set anyway if there ever was one.

Adams produced a small set of cups in brown bakelite. I bought a set for too much money on ebay a few months ago...

Thank you for the great information. Now I'll have to try to find a set. BTW, the link to Bills Museum required a password so I didn't get to take a look but I will try again later.

Thanks. Pete Biro just emailed me a pic of some bakelite bups a little while ago. Were those Adams cups the only bakelite cups or were there others??

The mess hall cups looked like light bakelite.

The FAO Schwarz cups were ordinary polystyrene.

It would tickle me to find some Charlie Miller type cups in bakelite but I guess I only saw them in a dream one night.
