I especially love the Latin quote, "Quisque sem neque." How true. *grin*
In all seriousness, though, GREAT name for your blog ('confessions'). That perfectly ties in with everything else you've worked so hard to build with your Honest Con Man character. Great work, Nicholas! |

I blog at http://www.OnlineMagicClub.com. No it hasn't helped my magic business, but it is fun. Right now I get about 1,300 unique visitors a month.

rethink your keyword strategy and let that dictate what you write about.. with that much traffic and it not giving you bookings something isn't matching up.. by reworking your keywords you can usually get more people with their wallets out..

The audience of the blog is mostly for magicians, or the general public who has seen magic on TV. Most of my high traffic posts are about Criss Angel, America's Got Talent, Penn and Teller, etc. These people are from all over the world, and aren't in my area. These people aren't prospects.
On the flipside though, I have been able to do show reports about performances at local events, so if you google these events/company names my blog comes up sometimes. That traffic is a very small amount but that traffic is what could possibly be turned into a lead. I have also been able to use my posts as one of the items included in my Monthly email Newsletter to my clients. My goal with the blog is to just generate as much traffic as I can no matter who it is. I find it fun. It's like a game to see the stats go up after a good blogpost is made |
