Moving hole effects effects have captured the imagination of magicians for years. Cameron Francis presents one of the most practical, real world versions of the moving hole plot you're ever likely to see! This is new from Cameron Francis. I got this and it's very clever; I'll have a review up eventually. Also, it's 30% off right now. Jeff |

I agree! I bought it today, made up the simple gimmicks and performed it to the amazement of my girlfriend! It really is a very visual 2-stage routine that leaves you relatively clean at the end! Its great value for money - like everything you get from Cameron Francis!

Each time I try & order something from Cameron's website, it just won't let me saying try a different Direct Debit Card. But when I order form a UK website I have no problems, I tyred yesterday as I really want the Ebook a Moment's Notice. Yet again It would not let me, but as soon as I order from Full52 as I said no problems. Can anyone suggest anything thanks for any replies.

This looks like a little more impromptu kind of feel to it (as long as you have the card/s with you). BTW, notice I said looks. I don't own Aperture. Just my two cents. Ricky |

Thanks, guys. Aperture (fancy word for "hole") is designed to be a "worker". If you have the gimmick on you, you can do this at almost any point in your set. There is a minor set up but it's ridiculously easy to get into.
Yes, the position of the hole in the cards is very similar to Nothing In Transit. But that's where the similarities end. Dave's and my tricks are very different in both effect and method. The hole in my effect is used to locate a card whereas the hole in Nothing In Transit jumps from one card to the other to demonstrate the properties of a "portable hole". We developed our ideas independently although they did cross paths at one point. I love Nothing In Transit. It's a fantastic effect. Mine is just something different. Wonder, I am PMing you now...

After reading the e-book and watching the explanation video I have to say this is very practical. The gimmick is easy to secretly add to the deck and it resets very quickly. There are also some nice, visual moments.

Got this last week and can easily recommend it. Aperture is (once again, if you're familiar with Cameron's packet tricks) easy to learn, simple to perform and has a high performance to reaction ratio that I love to see in a packet effect. BTW, the concept opens a lot of doors to variations and even completely different routines that are fun to explore and create.
Thanks & congrats for another winner Cameron. peace, charlie |

Thanks, Charlie!
BTW, Charlie informed me that you can buy 1 inch hole punchers at Jo Ann Fabrics (or most craft stores, I'm sure). I used a compass cutter but it would be much easier to simply punch the hole into the cards!

Cameron has done it yet again!
I've been searching for a moving hole effect that I can do walkaround for ages - Aperture fits the bill perfectly. I can't see anyone being disapointed with this. It's a great visual effect, very easy to do and resets almost instantly. I'll be getting a lot of use from this for sure! Iain. |

Thanks, Iain! I used this a lot in my table hopping and walk around work. The nice thing is that both before and after the effect, the deck is clean. When it's time to do the trick, the set up is so simple you can do it right in front of your specs.

Cameron kindly sent me this trick for free (I say that for those who may be interested... ;-)
Of course, it's very practical as the deck is clean before and after. But for me, the point that really sells the trick is that the selection and the card with the hole are examinable at the end.It was very smart to wait in order to find a way to do it before releasing it. For me this is the point that definitely sells the trick.

The weird thing is, you wouldn't believe how long it took to come up with that solution! Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most elusive.
