I have found that no matter what you do, people will question it.

Whenever I use a pump, people ask me why I'm not mouth inflating.

Whenever I mouth inflate, people tell me that I should get a pump.

The only solution I can think of is to alternate between a pump and mouth inflating every other balloon.

Geat idea Rob!

Filbert is a great pump I own one but collects dust at the moment.. I think its the best out there however.

Marks post is on here somewhere BUT it was just a link from balloonhq so you can just go on there and get it.

You are all hacks!!!!! Unless you are nose inflating like me, you are doing it wrong!!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!!

Sometimes I also use bagpipes to blow up multiple balloons at once.

Once I used a small rodent as a pump. I would squeeze it quite violently while I held the balloon over its head. I then tried it at a PETA convention and have not done it since.

So there, you all lose.

Just curious, what does this mean? And where is Mike Byrne's list of health
concerns with mouth inflating?

Hi it is Mark Byrne.

As Kevin points out it was a link on BHQ.

I am a mouth inflator, I have had several pumps before: Tmeyers PumpO, Balloon Buoy, Majjiloon Pump, of coarse hand pumps and Husky air compressor...

Nothing beats mouth inflating short of a compressed air. Compressed air being a little harder to carry around than my lungs.

Speaking of furry animals we have a guy around here that has a goat that mouth inflates.... REALLY!!

Ahh. SO the goat doesn't blow up balloons based on this article.

Still funny though!

What extra stuff do you have to buy for a mini mac light? Other than a jar of Vaseline to grease it with, there are no "extras" required.

Every so often, remove the screw on the side and wipe the cylinder out with paper towels, remove the O ring and wipe down the valve assembly and ring. aterwards, wipe a smear of vaseline around the inside of the tube, reinstall the top. and press the pump up and down a few time to lubricate the insides.

Scruffy, I just got my Mini Mac today and absolutely love it! How often should you relubricate the pump? Thanks

When the plunger becomes difficult push down. I've had mine two years and have done it - I think, three times?
