Hello all, I am trying to understand the MC Spread Double Lift from Michael Close's Workers Number 2.

If there is anyone who understands this, could you please PM me? Thanks!
Magically,
Mark

What don't you understand about it? I learned it from his Workers video.

It's also on the L&L series videos.

Ortiz describes it in some detail in Cardshark.

It's a wonderful move...one of my favourite sleights/forces ever.

It's described in "The Signed Card" in the Ortiz book if you're thinking of hunting it down there. That's a great trick by the way.

I was having problems understanding the alignment of the two cards right before the DL... That didn't make sense to me!

Thanks to all those who PM'ed me, I figured it out!
Magically,
Mark

It's a great move, isn't it? It's absolutely perfect for an ambitious card routine.

It's like a Hofsinzer under-the-spread force except the back of the card never leaves their sight. I love it.

It's probably best if you get it from the man himself. Michael posted this explanation on his facebook page. Fantastic move! https://www.facebook.com/michaelclosemag......82771857 Click the link to be taken to his YouTube explanation.

BTW, I think it is OK for me to mention that Michael offers Skype sessions to magicians. In addition he has frequent online lectures. Worth checking into!
