A quick question, I know there is indeed a plethora of products represented here... But when will the mini chops be tackled? The site is magnificent Don. Can't wait to drop a few hundred on it..

How do we refer to these new cups in the future? Are they the "new RNT2" or are the old ones the "old RNT2" or the "Jake RNT2". Just wondering when we see a RNT2 cup posted for sale in the future how would you designate the maker? Or are they essentially exactly the same and there's no reason to differentiate?

It's my understanding that the same chucks are being used to make the cups and other spun products, so there should be very little difference in the products.

Don D or Bill P… Can you please make comment as to how well chrome Cups hold up? With the Cups making contact with each other does the chrome treatment ever flake off? My only experience is with a chrome Chop Cup. Looking at the great Cups at the Museum, it appears that chrome holds up well.
Thanks in advance, Bruce |

Bruce,
I have some Burtini trads in chrome and they have held up perfectly. I think it also depends on the quality of the plating. I looked around for a fair while before I had my spare set of 2.5's plated, I wanted a good job doing. This thread may be useful to you Bruce... http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 Bri |

Thanks Bri… I don’t know how I missed finding those post, there was a lot of good info there. The Cups you had chromed look beautiful.

Chrome is a very durable plating. Chrome over nickel is really good.

Jeez, I was waiting until all the early adopters of the Back In Stock Notifications got what they wanted before sending a newsletter or making an announcement...
But word travels fast. Still updating photos and inventory quantities - should have the Chop Cups done tomorrow, but I can't make any promises on the balls just yet - I'm getting to it as soon as I can. And THANK YOU for your support and encouragement. It truly means the world to me. Donnie (who got 4 hours of sleep last night) |

Don… good luck with the grand opening, I know that you have worked hard for this day. What are the pros and cons of bright chrome verses white chrome? The new pictures of all the chrome Cups look fantastic.
Thanks, Bruce |
