Has a magician ever gone all the way (whatever that means) on AGT? I can't bring myself to watch it.

About as close as it has gotten to a magician going all the way was a ventriloquist winning it one year

I think you have to be able to sing to win that show. So only singing ventriloquists really have a shot at winning a show like that. What we need is a singing magician. . .

You have Duane Laflin who does Elvis and Daren Romeo who does show tunes.

Lol... I'm not sure why but that reminded me of Amazing Jonathon introducing Daren as the "Golden Throat of Magic" at one of his shows.
He's got a pretty good voice but the style might be better suited for Branson. They're looking for someone who can sell records althugh this year was a stretch, I'm still not sure what they're going to do with Kevin. They keep hyping the big show in Vegas but I think the now have a spot at Planet Hollywood which means they have the same prestige as Gregory Popovich, V and the Fab Four.
