Im thinking about including this in my walk around set. Ive owned it for years, love the effect, but never used it for one reason or another.

Any thoughts on the subjects?

Im thinking two, maybe three phases.

My biggest problem has always been a "good" ending. But I'm thinking that the spectator reaching into the bag themselves and pulling out the egg is pretty strong

It is. In fact if you just go back a page or two I actually started a thread just like this last month because I started to do the egg bag walkaround. It plays huge and takes up little space. I tend to save it until I have built a small crowd of 10-15 people when walking around.

It's perfect for strolling. Instant reset, plays as big as you want it to, and you can make it your own.

Although Ken said it all, here is a 3 page thread on this very subject:

I have the spectator produce the egg at the end and that's as elaborate as the routine needs to get at the finale. My routine is pretty basic, with just a few phases, but most audience members say that it's their favorite, of all of my routines.

Though I find the spec producing the egg themselves can be strong, especially for the spec who does it, I have always found it feels like a 'this is the end' moment, as in you may as well actually say it.

That is it does not feel like a CLIMAX to the effect, so much as just a way to express that the effect is over.

Many effects this works for, or have this naturally built into them, the clear moment that it is over, like when you find a card, but when the effect is built around a repeated effect, you need a more apparent CLIMAX, not just an ending. at least IMHO.

The spectator producing a giant egg would be a "better" climax for me, or a fired egg, of a stuffed chicken, or heck, a live one.
It's amazing, people will criticize you for "biting the hand that feeds you," while they're busy praising the hand that beats them.

Have you considered using the Walk-Around Silk to Egg instead?

I honestly think you NEED to purchase Marc DeSouza's DvD set just to see all that he knows about the egg bag...and the man knows a lot!
