It is heartening to have someone of such integrity and class not to mention talent as Levent in the world of magic.
Oh, my friend we're older but no wiser, for in our hearts the dreams are still the same...

I agree. Levant is a great magician and a good teacher. The DVDs are well made and very helpful (as already stated).

I just don't want new manipulators to dismiss change-overs due to the lack of material on the DVD. There is great value in using them, and a necessity in working a verbal routine. I can imagine numerous new manipulators getting called out and heckled which would stop there progress with the art. They have to know that change-overs were invented to solve this very purpose.

But that issue aside, it is a great DVD and whatever the next project is, I will definitely be buying it.

Hi Guys:

I finally got around to posting the first episode of the free podcast: "Magic Q and A" on my website. I'm still waiting for it to appear on the iTunes podcast directory as a free subscription. But in the meantime, you can download it directly from my website at:

In each episode, J. Neal and I will answer your technical and performance questions about magic.

If you have any questions please write us at MagicQandA@gmail.com

Just got these DVDs.

They are great. Great, great, great, great, GREAT.

Did I mention they were great? Well they are.

Great.

I'm just passing by to congratulate Levent on this collection.
Specially enjoyable are the sections of Cardini and Benson, with full recreations of their Billiard Ball Manipulation routines.

These I think reflect, first of all, Levent's skill and domain of Billiard Balls and second (and most important) the love for the art, for the classics and history of magic.
This material not only gathers techniques, but is a historic recollection on the effect and the best magicians performing it.

I encourage everyone interested in this effect to get it. I've been studying the effect intensely for some months already, acquiring Steinmeyer, Benson and Levent's material and it's been quite a great journey which I expect to keep for many years to follow.

Hi David:

I've been out at sea quite a lot recently. On the cruise ship the internet is very slow and costs about 65 cents per minute, so I basically sign on, check my email and sign off.

At sea, I avoid surfing the web, so I don't really get a chance to look at the Magic Café until I am home!

Thanks Alpha Alex!

David: I love what I do. Being able to make a living out of any art form that you love is truly a blessing. That said, the hardest part of the my kind of job is the travel (airports, TSA security, packing and unpacking, etc.) and the time spent away from loved ones.

Levent:
I just had a read on the previous pages and it's great to know the new set will be on the Linking Rings.

This is a routine I've always been enchanted and I plan to work on it on the near future. It will be great to know we'll count on your expert and informed view on the routine and its history, classic versions and handlings.
My favourite versions are Pepe Carroll's 3 ring version and Richard Ross's.

Best,

Antonio

Though I'm not sure about the whole routine, Jack Miller's has some unique features, including some nifty key ring switches.

Levent: when do you think you'll be able to start filming the set? I'm other's would agree that we would be happy to hear about the process as it comes about. Also, is Jack Miller's routine one that you plan on demonstrating?

Thanks,
Matthew Martin
