Hi Guys.
In my quest for a new figure, I'm seriously looking at the Tim Selberg figures. I just missed a Buster on ebay! But I've never actually seen one in the flesh, so to speak and I was wondering if there is anybody in the UK who has one, who wouldn't mind showing it to me. I am based in Glocestershire but I do get about a bit! Thanks.

Warning: if you SEE it, you'll WANT it. Happened to me.

One thing I can say Collin is the quality and craftsmanship of a Selberg is very far compared to the Payes figure I sold you. Please don't get me wrong, the Payes figures are also very nice and I love my Payes old man...what I'm saying is that the quality is much different.

I had a wooden Selberg girl which I tried converting into a boy but did not work out well. I loved that figure and wanted to make it my main figure but I ended up selling it because I opted for the cartoon look of the Poyner...which I think was a very good decision.
I also had a Selberg Rupert...another adorable figure. Unfortunatley, it had green eyes and auburn hair and it was not what I really want for a local character. I could have replaced the hair but I knew I cant replace the eyes so again, I ended up selling it. Now I have an order for a Selberg Tater (baby) with brown eyes... Im just worried small kids might get scared so I might just use it for my adult shows and perhaps for a group of bigger kids. I'm hoping the Selberg Tater will be with me in time for my holiday shows...Tim actually guaranteed a 10-12 week delivery.

Anybody had any problems with the mechanics?

I heard stories that since Tim's main man who used to handle and install the mechanics died, some models had problems...but I also heard that Tim is back on track and even added more manpower so that the new models are okay.
