I've played with these, but have never discovered agood effect using them. Has anyone ever used them to advantage?

David Roth has a routine, in Vol 4 of his DVD's on coin magic, using two napkin rings. I believe he credits the effect to T. Nelson Downs. It's basically a way to gimmick a ring to allow for a very clean looking coin vanish. Hope this helps Irfaan

You can also use an ornate napkin ring to dress up a coins through the table routine especially when you're using a sh---.
Also a TT for a vanishing re-appearing silk handkerchief. Think along the lines of Davey's Rings (I think that's the name) by Collectors Workshop. A different method, but a similar effect. If you can find napkin rings that will stack you're all set to go. Julie |

In "Duco's Napkin Mystery" El Duco stacks metal rings by alternating straight sided ones " ||" with rounded ones "( )". This makes a nice cylinder for the reproduction of a silk.
