I just purchased a beautiful silk set from a member on the the Café. Timothy the Turtle Salvation Silk set - Here is a reference: http://www.creativeartstore.com/index.ph......_id=1787
However, the member did not have any directions. I am hoping that somebody out there might have the directions/patter. While I am sure I can come up with my own, I always at least like seeing the original directions before I adapt it to my use. Please PM me if you own this effect. Thank you all. M. Reist

Revmike,
I have this set, and yes, the silks are great looking, especially the 36" silk. Nice job to Darren at the Creative Arts Store on this one! The routine is entitled Salvation Road. I borrowed my daughter's Webkinz turtle (he looks a lot like Timothy), and produce it from a giant drawer box. I also produce two ribbons with different colored garland balls on them that change to gold (streets of gold) at the end of the routine. I bought a science project board, and made a Salvation Road scene on it. From this board, I hang the various colored silks. This way, I can pull each silk off of the 'road' one at a time while I talk about each one's meaning. I will try to send you a picture tomorrow. I use a change bag that simulates his "shell" rather than a Switch Can, as I have the larger silk set. Doug |
