I just picked up a set of Tick-tac-toe at thrift store with metal rings and crosses for palying pieces. The rings are half-dollar size and the crosses the same and weigh about the same as a coin. Thus, many coin sleights coul dbe used for some interesting change effects -- and you could always wind up with the Naughts & Crosses paper trick, after some ring on string stuff.
I'm hoping for a couple of ideas for using this 'find' -- five of each piece, gold, non-magnetic. Best idea so far is to lay out X O X wave your hand and have O X O.

There is always prediction effects, play a game with the spectator and predict the out come. It seems to me there as a routine in Richards Almanac by Max Maven these could be used with.
