I was at this fair last weekend. It's less than a mile from my mom's house. I've also been to this hospital and long felt they needed to change things. Wow.

He is a criminally insane killer not a psycho killer. You should show sensativity to those who have alternate life taking choices.

Yes, but look how I added the / to make it clear that he does not necessarily kill psychos. Psycho killer, psycho/killer. I think it's much better.

I believe that this is just a tie-in for the forthcoming movie, Shutter Island:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1130884/

"U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital."

I hate when I go somewhere and it's "take a psycho killer to the ______ day".

Who's idea was this? have they done it before?

Another good reason for concealed carry permits and self defense training.

Between the mental Hospitals taking psycho killers out for field trips and ca letting 23,000 criminals out of prison, it's a good time to get armed and trained.

Tick tock ...

People are already doing it. Have you priced guns and ammo lately?

$80 for the Utah CC permit class in Idaho. Recognized in most states.
About a year and a half after my best friend was in Eastern the director came to my psych class and told us all about how things I had seen "hadn't been done that way in twenty years."
My notes from class that day were not pleasant.
The whole situation at the fair is almost comical to me though. It's just so absurd. It's like Rob Zombie's H2 or something.

I hate people when they're not polite.

Whose idea was it to take an insane man who kills people out into a environment like a fair?

If someone wanted to teach him to survive and co-exist in the world where people are, couldn't they have found a less chaotic place to do it? Or a place where people are more easily controlled?

If he was on a drug, how coherent was he? He may have wandered off and fallen asleep in a ditch or something.

How far was he from his killing ground? maybe someone he had embittered recognized him and they killed him. He might be in the woods some where, shot and never to be found.

Lets hope they either catch him, or we never hear from him again. Depending on the type of insanity he sufferers from, some insane people can be quite cunning. Best if he never shows up.

HEY! Another good use for chipping and gps locators!

Seriously, though, what happens if he goes the full 14 days without meds? What if he doesn't head back to mom & dad?

Heads will roll (metaphorically) at the hospital for this. I just pray that he is caught before some poor innocent person pays the price for this level of negligence and poor judgement. Just waiting two hours before notifying authorities gives this man a massive head start. He may be insane, but it doesn't mean he's stupid.

Here is a perspective, put things in it.

Sorry, I forgot where I was.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

We should have an escaped psycho limerick contest. Here's mine!

There was a psycho from Spokane
Who went to the fair and then ran
he had two weeks worth of meds
to keep him straight in his head
then into his trunk many people he'll cram
