Dave, the cheese line is mine, part of a longer routine about statistics. If Todd wants to use it, he has my blessing. You can use it, too!

Not a convention of escape artists... the answer is obvious...

a Chord of Escape Artists.

I hope I am not too off topic but is there a collective noun for a group of escapologists?
An example would be 'a murder of crows'
I have been looking yet found nothing EA related.

I think it can be any word related to that noun (?? reference QI program with S Fry) and that word then becomes mainstream over time.
Murder is good for crows. and a Mob for kangaroos.

How about a ‘confinement”’ of escape artists, or a ‘drowning of EA's

The word should be “woody” and not “tinny’ ( refer Monty Python)

Hi Harley, did you do the cheese line on your DVD (the one you didn't get paid for)? That may be where I heard it and got you and Todd mixed up. You look as much like Todd as he he looks like you.

It's always nice to have blessings from you.....

Just started listening to an audio book of trickster stories. I'm really glad you recommended these stories.

Back to the happy topic of death ..... (It's only 8 days ago that it was Adams 3rd Birthday ........ Those of you that know me know the other 'event' of that day. So at least it didn't come up last week.)

Back in 2004 we were discussing this at the UKEA meeting. Nick Janson came up with the name STRUGGLE!

I have since always referred to a group of escapologists as a "STRUGGLE OF ESCAPOLOGISTS"

Struggle is good

Cell of EAs ...... Don't want to be involved in a group known as cells ...... Although that could lead to time spent in restraints.

Struggle good ..... How about a 'writhe' more painful than a struggle!

A ratchet of Escape Artists.
A twist of Escape Artists.
A bag of Escape Artists.
A jacket of Escape Artists.
A torture of Escape Artists.
A chain of Escape Artists.
A trick of Escape Artists.
A shim of Escape Artists.
A can of Escape Artists.
A stock of Escape Artists.
A Fetter of Escape Artists.
A restraint of Escape Artists.
A Jardine of Escape Artists.
A containment of Escape Artists.
A challenge of Escape Artists

Ok, some don't really work but I like chain, best.
I also like cell but it's not PC today.
