I have been thinking of a new idea I came up with at dinner.
Imagine standing with a glass of water, then pulling the glass downwards and the water remains in the air "frozen". It looks exactly how you would imagine floating water to look and just hovers, I have not yet thought about where to go from here, as in how to finish it, but I was wondering what people thought about it so far. Andy Break it down.

Cool idea. I love the thought of it. Do you have a method or at least a rough idea for one?

Absolutely, I do not want to give much away for fear of copies but I am bringing up variations all the time.

Nice idea Andy...
I do not know if this would work, as I haven't tried it, but there is an old effect in Tarbell, where you freeze a glass of water by secretly dropping cellophane in it. If you could make the frozen water float, you would escape the difficulties of levitating something with no solid form. But then, I guess you'd lose some of the effect... hmmmmmm...... liam |

While I have no idea what your method is, I think the most stunning way to end it would be having the water release from mid air and cascade down all over the floor with a splash. This would prove to everyone that it was just water and not some gelatinous goo hanging from a string. Unless of course your method is to use gelatinous goo hanging from a string. If so, nevermind.

I was thinking about having it splash onto the floor or into a bowl or something.

Just keep posting.... quick. I got 50 in about 4 days with ease. And all were counted. But I am still interested in this effect. It sounds very cool, though I'm not admitting, I would still like to help. If it is YOUR own effect you can post it in we double dare you until you get access to triple dare forum.

Hmmmm, well it plays as I said, you pour out some water into a glass, then pull the glass away and the water floats, then you tap it and the water crashes down.
