Trust me, it will be a real value! I also have a business card effect in my brand new ebook, "Guinn Gone Mental" available right now on the books page of my website. I've posted this in the ebook forum, but just so you guys know about it, I'll give you the link that lets you in on a real deal. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......um=159&6

Fantastic. I have been waiting for this. Hard to imagine a better version of Assertive Positive Negative. I have so much fun with it as it is. Let us know when it's available.

Thanks for all the advice so far everyone. Scott, do you have a mailing list for notifications about your products? I'd be interested in hearing when that Ebook is released (and I don't get that much time to browse these forums...)

Actually I do. There's a link on the home page of my website (about the middle of the page) where you can sign up. It's brand new, so there's really nobody on it yet, but as soon as I get some people, I'll be happy to send out notifications. You can also check the "News and Info" page of my website and my blog--I usually make posts in both places when I have new releases.

Hmmm.....
I'll report that to my webmaster. I guess that explains why nobody has signed up yet!

In one of the Semi-Automatic card trick books there's an effect using an eye chart to reveal a card. I've always thought this same idea could be applied to a business card. Althoughyou would want it printed on the back.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Flash Fold by Paul Harris. Absolutely My favorite effect.

Great news about Positively Positive Scott. I use Assertive all the time and would agree with slyhand that it's a great one for a biz card. Also Rob, I use a biz card for a drawing dupe using a p*** wallet.

I use mine for billets and hand them out that way, it serves as a souvenir. It is folded but people still love it. In fact, I have twice gotten shows because of it one request came a week later from the person to whom I gace the card and the second came from another person who was a business associate of the person to whom I gace the card.
Peace

OK guys, Positively Positive is finally here--and I believe you'll agree, it's well worth the wait. The price is $15.
After much deliberating, here's the deal Richard and I came up with: - If you can provide proof that you bought the original APN from me (PayPal transaction details), when you purchase the new version ("Positively Positive"), I will refund you $2.50. I was gonna do $5, but by the time I give Richard his cut and pay the expenses that go along with maintaining the site, I'd be losing money on the deal. So you'll get a $2.50 refund. - If you buy Positively Positive from me and decide you want to buy Richard's big hardbound book, he will credit you the full $15 toward the purchase of the book! Positively Positive is the first item on the "general Magic" page of my website: http://www.scottfguinn.com

Check out David Solomon's Business Card Prediction from his book and DVD. It would require a folded business card.

Two that come to mind very quickly are Out to Lunch (or one of its many variations -- do the work on the back of the card) and a four by four magic square.

I think 'Tag' by Chastain Chriswell is a great effect for handing out your business card.
It has the added bonus of including a souvenir from the trick. Syd |
