Does anyone know of a few sentences/paragraphs that can be put on a website dealing with a Private Policy explaining it can not be copied?

Are you looking for a privacy policy or copyright statement? They are different.

Good question. I can understand they are different. But I am not a pro with any of the two. There might be a little difference, but a little can mean a lot with something like that. Can you show an example of a copyright statement?

There might be a little difference There is actually a big difference between the two: Privacy policy is what you do with information they submit via something like an online form. Example: "Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties." Copyright notice is what rights are and are not granted to the site viewer (ie. can't copy the photos or text) On technical side, anything you own the copyright to anything you write, automatically. However, by adding an explicit copyright notice, you are making it clear what rights you want to (or don't want to) give. Mine: Entire Site Copyright, 2009. Digital Blacksmiths, LLC. Of course, any copyright statement is only as good as your lawyers and your willingness to prosecute...but, it's still a great idea to stake your claim to your creative works. Some great advice above.

Mike, you might also want to consider adding a "No Right Click" script to your website pages. This script is added after the heading <HEAD> on each page in your HTML. It generally disables Cut & Paste functions through most browsers. It isn't foolproof and there are ways around it, but it serves notice that your site's content is copyrighted and protected.
Google "No Right Click" for a number of script sources and samples. This is fairly old school stuff, so maybe there's a better way to block copying that I'm not aware of.
