Let's all hope and pray that Rannie is OK. There has been flooding of biblical proportions in Manila.

Rannie and his family are safe and dry. And Vince Mendoza's loved ones are wet, but OK.

You are wonderful people. Thank you for remembering a brother.

It was almost miraculous that we were spared. Not a centimeter of water went up in my house. 5 mins off my place, houses were waist high...and a little further... neck high.

It was a difficult day especially for me since I was doing a show outside Manila at that time. It was a perfect day in Mindanao. Just mins before my show, I heard about the news. To make matters worse, the phone lines were affected as well. Luckily I was able to swing a call and found out that my family was safe. Still it was frustrating not to hear from other relatives and friends. The show must go on!

After the show...I was able to call the rest....even my magician friends. MANY OF THEM LOST EVERYTHING. The only consolation is that there were no deaths or physical injuries from the people I know.

I am doing several shows now to help rebuild our beloved Manila. The magicians are working hand in hand to help as well. Even those who lost their homes and props.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Salamat Po!

Rannie, it's good to know you and Vince are okay. 2 years ago a villiage half a mile from me flooded, some people are still not back in their homes. A friend of ours showed us pictures, in 10 minutes the water went from nothing to waist height in here home.

They are trying to brace themselves for another storm that is scheduled to hit this weekend. Let's hope the storm passes by... They don't even need another storm at this point....

My son and my wife's family live in the Philippines too. The home where my son lives was flooded on the first floor, but he is fine, and the water is now drained out of the house.

We have accounted for most of my wife's family, and received second hand reports about the rest of them. Many of them didn't have a lot to begin with so let's hope they don't lose anymore.

Rannie, I am glad you and your family are safe. Take care.

Let us all hope that the second storm misses them.

Rannie, I'm relieved about you and your family but still feel extremely sad about all these death and destruction of so many people's life work.

Take care my friend. As you could see you are precious to many of us.
