So while it's not that hard to figure out, is this going to be released? I'd still support him...I loved Shirt Happens.

Guys,
Please try and duplicate the effect. His body is not just bending. Look at his legs, they are stationary. It really is impossible if you study the angles. Please post a video if you can do it. James

You look like you could use a shave James. I don't have a razor, but perhaps Occam could lend you his? Angles studied, theory remains steadfast. Though I'm not here to encourage exposure, I am here to debate. And it's always a pleasure fellas.

Personally I think if you show this to the audience they can say:
so where is the magic? must be more convincent if it will be a moving head Illusion! |

Hi all!
There is more gimmickery involved than just leaning. Marco Tempest performed this on his New York 2 DVD Virtual Magician specials. I was thinking about releasing a physical product but every one is built differently so hard to make one to fit everyone. May release a pdf of it one day for self construction. Angelo

Exactly.
You guys kill me. Do a video performing the effect. Try to lean over that far without falling down and keep your head straight. His legs are straight and his head goes all the way over to his hand while his other hand is stretched out. It seems there is no spirit hand or at least the handling is new. I know that he did not really move his head meyegr [oh you are soooooo funny] I just think that there is more to this than leaning. James Quote: On 2009-10-09 09:24, meyegr wrote:

We are talking about what,
centimeters more or less? I understand this is not easy to do like it look at the first wiew, but you can't explaine to your audience , no It's not like this you can't bent etc.etc. because from the first look it look exactly like this( I will repeat I know it's not just bent ....but we need more to perform this ..), any way at the end it doesn't result magical to my eyes! Angelo is a good mind but about this I'm disappointed! it must be more convincent! |

I don't have head mover Illusion but I can undestand what is Great and what is not really great,
or " it's not a Nice trick", and you know also this, this is a classic problem , in magician's eyes many thinks looks more magical and better than in Audience's eyes! when you perform your classic card manipulation , maybe you do a great act, maybe you are a great performer, but, look in to the Audience's eyes and than you can understand what I mean , evrythings look too obvius in their eyes ( especially when they are right)!, otherwise look in to the magician's eyes and maybe if you are a great performer they say "wow", what I wold say is : the Audience's eyes are different's from "magician's eyes! we think we are more clever than the Audiences, many magician thinks they are special just because they know some tricks, but today our audieces it's really smart and today if you want be called a "Magician " you need just to perform only "WOW" effects not just "nice but I thinkyou do like this ......), this effect it' really like this " nice but I think........, when an effect is greator a " nice trick" there are almost " no way " in the Audience's eyes! |

I understand what Marcus is saying. If the audience believes you are leaning then that's what you are doing even if you there are other things involved
In this particular one I believe that most lay people will think this way. The head needs to be able to extend farther out, maybe to the hand, to be believable. You can't stop and explain to them that it's physically impossible to do so "here, try it yourself" I showed this to my wife and she thought he was just leaning. My 2 cents.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.
