The first new issue is mailing out this week (I received the proof from the printer on Friday and it looks great!) and Scott's column takes up the much-coveted center spread. I know I'm looking forward to his contributions in upcoming issues...

Wow...

That is beyond anything I could hope for. I am overwhelmed.

You definitely deserve it Scott!
Everything I have ever read from you is 100% solid material or advice with no "I'm Mr. Wonderful" attitude attached to it.

:dancing: Congratulations!

I just want to say thank you to all the folks who have sent me their kind comments, either here at The Café or through other means. I greatly appreciate it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that, due to personal reasons, I will be unable to continue with a regular column in the Magic Menu. I was really looking forward to it, but it's not going to work out. I want to publicly thank Jim Sisti for giving me the opportunity, and I want to thank all the people who were so kind and supportive to me. I'm sure the magazine will do just fine without me--in fact, I hear Richard Osterlind will be writing for it starting with the next issue, so that's a big step up from me!

Anyway, just an FYI, so you guys won't be wondering why my column isn't there in the future.

That's a shame. I hope all is good with you. We will still read your blog.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

I second that: yours would have been a great column. I hope it's nothing (too) serious.

Scott,

I'm sorry to see you go! You're a great guy and have a ton of wonderful insight into the magic world. I will miss your column but will be all over your blog! Best of luck...

That's odd...if you copy and paste the address from my sig...it works, but if I leave the hyperlink in there, then it doesn't. Go figure...I just removed the url part from the sign line. You won't be able to just click it...but a copy paste works...

Anyone know how to fix this issue...?

Hi Rodney:

Your issue is on the way. Just got back from the Post Office.

Best,

Jim
