Does anyone know why this didn't stay in production longer? Was is too expensive to produce? Unpopular? I think its one of Tenyo's best mechanisms but maybe production costs were high?

I also think that it is...was a great prop!
Sometimes Tenyo stops an item of their line after only a short time without apparent reason...

I unfortunately missed this trick when it came out.
Anyone know where I can buy one? |

I paid a fairly high price for mine so its not cheap when it shows up. A used one just closed on eBay for over $50. I'm sure someone out there will part with one.

This is one of the best Tenyo items ever. It is VERY easy to do, examinable and almost impossible to figure out.
I have been told that this trick has been discontinued because the production costs were too high. I have this trick and the mechanics of this trick are indeed very special ... . Cormatches/magic patagonia discribes it as magic engineering and he is probably right! If you are a Tenyo collector, or even if you just like easy to do magic tricks with a lot of 'impact', this is one you need to have! |

Im lucky to have bought one. The secret locking device on this is sooooo clever. I did however figure it out though by fluke, but I don't think anyone else would. Just watching this work with the lid open amazes me how tenyo could build something that can do that, its so small. Wow!
