For those who are interested…
Giving one point to each company each time it was mentioned, here are the 5 most popular places that Magic Café folks have bought their magic in the past 5 years. #1 Hocus Pocus #2 Magic Café #3 MJM #4 Denny & Lee #5 Magic Warehouse (Tie) #5 Penguin (Tie) Thus proving… I have too much time on my hands.

It all depends what I'm looking for. I always stop by the Café first to see if anyone here has it for sale.
If no one has it here and I know who created it I go direct to them. These include Losander and Creative Magic. Both gave me great service. After that I'll do a Google search for what I want and see who's got it going cheapest. I don't support any one particular store. Although there are places I won't shop. People I've used more than once in the past and would use again include: Alakazam UK Penguin http://www.kidshowmagic.co.uk (I think they're only online) International Magic Bob Kohler

First and foremost, I will always buy at a local magic shop:
1) Barry's Magic Shop - Rockville, MD 2) Denny and Lee's - Baltimore, MD 3) Fantasma - New York, NY Then as a last resort ... only if I can't find what I'm looking for at the local store AND if it can not be ordered by the local store AND if I really, really need it ... then I order online. 1) Theory11 2) Ellusionist I have nothing against the online shops but I will always support the local brick and mortar shops first. We have lost too many good stores (e.g. Al's Magic Shop - DC).

The Magic Warehouse- I normally order online eventhough they are in driving distance. The shipping is low enough that it saves me more money than driving there and I almost always have it next day.

C'mon guys! Support the brick and Mortar shops while they still exist. Unless, of course the prices are WAY out of line. I mean business IS business...
