Nowadays Alakazam UK, Penguin Magic, and direct from various creators. Lulu sometimes for books.

In the past, often Tannen's or Fantasma Magic as they are relatively close and I would stop by if in Manhattan.

Direct from the creators where possible. Otherwise:

I've bought a good deal from Outlaw in the past but less recently.

Great service from all.

1. Two reputatble local magic shop - to support brick and mortar magic shop the best I can
2. Vanishing Inc / Penguin Magic / Sole dealer or manufacturer of specific effects (props) / other online shop with particular item on sale
3. Magic Conventions
4. Ebay for collector items

I am Leigh Hotz, owner of I have a small walk in magic shop in Mesa Arizona inside a store called Quite A Unique Boutique in Superstitiona Springs mall. The mini-magic sells about 150 basic magic staples including flash paper, closeup and parlor tricks. The website however list thousands of products that are NOT in stock, but can be special ordered on demand.

I have been to the Wizard Magic Shop in Mesa. It looks very promising. Unfortunately I had missed Mr. Holtz. However, I saw a sign about Merlynn the magic cockatiel. I will try to make it back when the owner is in.
