My quest now is to get the soundtrack CD. The opening title music is magnificent (as is the rest) so if you have a decent sound system prepare to 'turn it up' and let it bury in deep. The quality of this music forshadows perfectly what is to come...maybe it's on the web to sample? I'll look.
Here's a bit from a Music review: "Better yet, this isn’t just some grab bag of disparate musical goodies to randomly play a barely strung-together collection of unpleasantness. Rather, Douglas Pipes makes writer-director Michael Dougherty’s nastily fun stories into a seamless symphony of the best musical things that go bump in the night, from playful children’s voices to slithering violin strings and pouncing brass- a danse macabre of everything that’s great about Halloween music. Perhaps the best TREAT here is that TRICK is a renewed blast of the kind of theme-driven horror scoring we barely get anymore. Fans of this long-dead type of cinematic storytelling, and fiendish melody making can’t welcome this little pumpkin-headed devil fast enough." and a TINY taste: http://johndadlez.com/MP3/TrT-1-MainTitle.mp3 End Credits taste: http://johndadlez.com/MP3/TrT-18-EndCredits.mp3 (awesome) Other cuts available here: http://www.lalalandrecords.com/TrickRTreat.html

Yes, it's great!!! I caught it at the San Diego Comic Con this summer. It's similar in structure to Pulp Fiction. It's been a long time since there's been a horror movie of this quality.
What is the color of magic?

Try REDBOX.com! Plenty of locations and you can RESERVE online before you get there. And it's a $1 (One Dollar). Netflix & Blockbuster obsolete? Is for me.
But I bought mine though through one of my clubs. REMEMBER ALL: NO SPOILERS!

I think Doug would like the True Blood series...it has Anna Paquin.

Not interested. But thanks. I wouldn't know Anna Paquin if I...had the lights on.
Don't care for Vampire movies...Werewolf movies get my attention though with the right makeup FX. Vampires are just red lips and neck licking. Meh.

True Blood is different. It's worth a look, especially with all of the other vampire trash that is out at the moment. Twilight (shudder).

Will stalk the Trick R Treat movie and kill it immediately.
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

And has cool opening credits... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-UORRmi1ZI |

Thanks Eddie...I'll watch for it. YouTube wants a Sign In and they can stick it.
:) I have other sources and will look it up. Luke I can (won't) abide shaky camera stuff. UFO: Too late.
