I think they are related. They both like revealing our secrets to everyone. I bet he is making money from it some type of way while we are being hit hard with the economy.

The only DUMB thing about this, is that someone watching cannot do it without the prop. SO, it is strictly for the reveal, not sure why anyone would do this. I was expecting a push to his site so that you could buy the prop from him. While this would not excuse him, it would give a motivation to it ($$$)

I agree with you, Blair. It shows he rather have his fun revealing our secrets instead for no money.

There are lots of threads about this performer in the Right or Wrong section, and elsewhere.

My personal take is not to give him any attention.
