Hello John,
Welcome to The Café. I first saw your work at an A-1 Convention in the Capitol in Sacramento. When your books came to life I was indellably marked as a huge fan of your work. There is such a grace in your approach to card magic. It is a real treat to have you here. Cheers, Tom Cutts |

Dear John,
Another fan from the other side of the globe! Hope you enjoy this week discussion. Your creation indeed save my life many times being surrounded by hecklers of all kinds (magicians included.) Steven

Dear John:
Another big fan here. Suffice it to say that your effects have inspired me to learn sleights that I never would have attempted otherwise. I look forward to some great threads here. BCIII (that's Bill) |

Welcome to the Magic Café! I have most, if not all, of the magic books you've written, and they all are among my favorite magic books.
I wish I could be a fly on the wall during the sessions you have with Simon Aronson and Dave Solomon! Thank you for coming here to chat with us.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

I've been reading your posts on here with much interest. Without wanting to come across as a sycophant, I'd like to thank you for igniting my interest in magic. I'd been introduced to magic by my father from a young age, but had never really taken it on board. Then, by chance, I stumbled across a few great videos of Andy Hall performing some of your effects. I was blown away. There is something about your particular brand of magic that just appeals to me. Magic that is clever, not too sleight-heavy but still packs a punch. It was with relish, therefore, that I made my first magic book purchase: Dear Mr. Fantasy. Thank you for all your inspiration so far. I look forward to more in the future. Syd |
