Hi John...
Ok...I'll ask.... Lots of performers here would like to know about your spectator, Liz... She makes your dvds more enjoyable than they already are... Can you give us a short background on her?...

Guys,
When I began thinking about returning to video, I gave a lot of thought to who could/should be the perfect spectator. I chose not to appeal to the inner-adolescent (or, to the adolescents out there, you). Usually, we see the bimbo/stripper, the over-reacting screaming street person, or the semi-bored but handy co-worker, family member or acquaintance. I targeted: attractive, but demure; skeptical, but inquisitive; intelligent, but interested; young, but adult. Enter, Liz. Liz is actually the daughter of one of my partners. College girl (getting ready to graduate), smart and articulate, attractive and engaging. She is also interested in Drama (helpful for those re-takes). I met her because her parents and Christina and I have tickets for the same night at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. She seemed perfect and because of her Drama background, let's say, not disinterested and not wary of being on camera. As it turns out, excellent choice. Liz does indeed have her own fan club here on the MC. I am not sure I have ever seen this before. She does not know this--although her mother does. I am not sure whether it is flattering or a little creepy. I am grateful to her because she made me and the magic look good--mainly because she was truly engaged. John

It's not uncommon. L&L had Tanya V. And Front Row Frank is so popular that Boris Wild asked for his autograph during his set, because he'd see all of Frank's videos...
Liz was a great choice. |

Do you refer to the demure Ms Pennington? John
