My first magic book that got me hooked in was Mark Wilson’s Course, but my very first ‘magic shop’ book I bought was Impossibilia, and I have probably gotten as much mileage out of “Bannon Triumph” as anything else I’ve learned since.
A trick I overlooked on first read was “Little T,T&A” which is an ace-cutting triumph routine that can be done completely in the hands. Joshua Jay has a great ace-cutting triumph routine in his “Close Up Up Close” series which uses a table, and seeing that version jogged my memory to go back and look up Bannon’s trick. I’ve never seen much discussion about this routine, but it really is a well-thought-out worker and worth checking out.

Thanks jmathai1.
"Little T,T & A" of course stands for "Topsy" "Turvy" and "Aces." And was an easy in-the-hands "Triumph and find the Aces" routine. The basic concept, Tenkai and some double undercuts, is efficient, deceptive, and way too easy for most hard core card guys--I like it a lot. The best part is you can start with the framework and come up with or combine your own revelations. We should add this to the "Overlooked Gems" thread. John Songmeisters, "Little T & A" (and you know what that stands for) was on the Stones' Tattoo You album.

Ditto, "Little T,T,& A" has been a part of one of my sets for so long, I forgot that it's yours, John. One of the nice things about your handling is that it can be done with a deck in any condition, by a performer in just about any condition. Which comes in handy.

Gotta love those "performer in any condition" tricks. Thanks, Curtis.
